1. The problem of residual chlorine in tap water

What should I do if the tap water cannot be drunk directly?

These two methods are usually used in real life to solve: one is to drink after boiling; the other is to use a water purifier to purify and drink.
 
Boiled
In fact, it is very simple, as long as the tap water is boiled, it can be drunk, because most of the tap water is sterilized by chlorine gas, but this does not make the sanitary index of tap water meet the drinking water standard, there will still be more harmful substances in the water, boiling can basically kill or reduce these substances. At the same time, there will be chlorine gas and other harmful chloride residues in tap water sterilized by chlorine gas. After boiling, most of these harmful substances can be decomposed or volatilized, which greatly improves the safety factor of water.
 
Water purifier purification
The working principle of a general water purifier is to filter. After filtering layer by layer, the sediment, rust, impurities, residual chlorine, bacteria, viruses, carcinogenic organic substances, heavy metals, etc. in the tap water are filtered out to achieve the purpose of purification.
 
Of course, different water purifiers of different quality and quality may not be able to achieve 100% purification. Therefore, for the purified tap water, it is best for consumers to boil the double-guaranteed drinking to be more at ease.
