kdf filter material can inhibit the growth of bacteria, algae and fungi on the activated carbon filter bed and filter element. So as to effectively prevent these microorganisms from polluting activated carbon, RO membrane and ion exchange resin. KFD filter material can also control scaling, algae and bacterial growth in cooling tower and air conditioning system. So it can replace the high-cost chemical treatment method and protect the environment.



The electrolyte environment produced by the redox reaction is fatal to some microorganisms. The reaction also produces hydrogen peroxide and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), which will reduce the activity of some other microorganisms. Secondly, zinc released from KDF treatment medium has obvious control effect on microorganisms. Zinc can prevent the synthesis of enzymes, thus affecting the normal growth of organisms and achieving the purpose of inhibiting microbial reproduction. In addition, KDF medium controls the growth of algae by preventing the synthesis of chlorophyll. The existence of zinc ions essentially reduces the ability of organisms to produce food from photosynthesis, which will significantly affect the growth of bacteria.
